APnational Rising & Before The Tee
APNational Rising exists to open doors. We believe the next generation of golfers, coaches, course managers, and golf industry leaders deserves more than talent they deserve access. Through six annual grants, APNational Rising invests in young people who carry the spirit of the game forward, on and off the course. We are reaching out to you because we believe in the power of partnership and we think this one is a natural fit. This June, APNational G.C. and WA Golf are proud to present the 2026 Washington State Juneteenth Celebration of Golf a three-day community golf event rooted in celebration, inclusion, and the belief that this game belongs to everyone, regardless of background. This event is about more than golf. It is about showing up for the next generation, honoring the culture, and building something meaningful together right here in Washington State. Event Itinerary June 18th | Welcome Celebration “Wright Start” Fairwood Golf & Country Club Washington State Juneteenth Celebration of Golf Welcome, honoring the legacy of Bill Wright, the first African American USGA national champion. Field Day format: individual play. June 19th | 4-Player Scramble Riverbend Golf Complex An open community scramble bringing golfers together across all skill levels for a day of friendly competition and connection. June 19th | Royal Esquire Evening Juneteenth Celebration A special evening celebration hosted by the Royal Esquire Club honoring culture, community, and the spirit of Juneteenth. June 20th | Billy Bogey Invitational Chambers Bay The signature closing event of the weekend at one of the Pacific Northwest's most iconic golf courses. Individual stroke play format. What Your Support Fuels Your sponsorship directly supports three areas of impact: Junior Grants & Scholarships Through APNational Rising’s grant program, we are investing in junior golfers and young people pursuing golf-related careers across Washington State. These resources change trajectories. Before The Tee LEARN. NETWORK. PREPARE. CONNECT. Our Before The Tee community outreach program prepares and connects aspiring golfers before they ever step on the course equipping them with the knowledge, relationships, and confidence they need to belong in this game. Your donations and funding help power this 4-week program covering instruction, materials, networking opportunities, and the hands-on experiences that give participants a real foundation in the game. Every dollar invested goes directly toward making sure cost is never the reason someone misses their opportunity to learn, grow, and connect through golf. Community, Celebration & Access The event itself is open to the public three days, three iconic venues, one unified community. We are bringing golfers together who may never have shared a fairway before. That is the point. How to Get Involved We welcome support at every level. In-kind donations, product contributions, and service partnerships are all welcome.
